We will fulfill the command of Jesus Christ to love one another by building the kingdom of God one person at a time. We will do this by meeting their physical needs first thus allowing us to meet their spiritual needs by sharing the gospel.

VISION STATEMENT

God has called a core group to begin an outreach center here in Lubbock. This new ministry will be known as Refuge Outreach Center. Our goal is not to build a church - our goal is to build people. The ROC will be based upon the scriptural mandate to go and make disciples for Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to reaching out to the lost and needy in the name of Jesus through practical means. It is our desire to establish bonds of friendship and trust by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and healing the sick. Refuge Outreach Center is a safe place for all to come. We seek to minister to and impact the lives of those who will not enter a traditional church or who feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in a traditional church setting. We also want to reach out to other churches to help them meet the needs of their members and communities through the ministries we offer. How Can You Help?

We would love the support of individuals, churches, and businesses willing to offer prayers and/or donate money, time, gently used clothing, furniture, office supplies, Christian books, tapes and CD’s, or other items that can be used in any of our outreach ministries. We welcome and encourage everyone to help us fulfill our commission of meeting the needs of God’s people.
